The Ninth Grade Academy House is comprised of students who are in their first year at Lehman. The mission of the house is to ensure a smooth transition from Middle School to High School life and to help every student find his or her passion and strength. Students are encouraged to realize the importance of their dedication to academic achievement. Students are told to attend tutoring if needed, join clubs and sports teams, to work hard and never give up in order to to achieve success.
Students are taught that their own direct communication with their teachers about their progress in class assists them in that subject.
The academy is committed to serving and supporting every student.
